02-24-03 04:35 Reply | I built a catapult once. I used a 20 LB pull spring and could throw 2-3 pounds 20 feet. With munitions close, I could launch 1 item ever 1.1 seconds ( two arm movements ). |

my friend mike ferchak and i pulled off a 7 foot tall one with 40 lbs counter weight.... it cost me about 40 dollars though, so was it worth it? maybe not... |

10-14-03 01:00 Reply | i built a trebuchet out of popsicle sticks and hot glue. the arm is about 18 inches long and it can launch 2 quarters (glued together) about 30 feet. |
