Yes, you will love your children, and yes, you will punish them when they do something wrong, but no, (well, I hope not anyway) you are not going to kill them, no matter how bad they are. Why? Well, for one, it's illegal. But another very good reason is that you just don't go killing the people you love! And about your other post... I am not evil, at least not by any normal standards. I choose to be skeptical of things that seem very illogical; I don't eat babies. Jeremiah, maybe it's because I don't have the infinite wisdom of God that I still see no way that the said situation (the one about God un-doing himself) makes any sense whatsoever. "tell that to the people who get killed" i tell them all the time.

Personally, I'd take no afterlife over that. But over no afterlife, I'd rather God just didn't strike me down for being able to recognize when things don't make sense. -Dexter345-
Jeremiah Walgren 1187 posts 09-01-03 03:29 Reply	Well, it's not exactly heaven and hell. It's more like heaven, a lesser degree of heaven, an even lesser degree than that of heaven, and then hell. And, if it makes you more comfortable, I don't think God will hold you liable for something you didn't know. But if it's staring you in the face, and you don't do anything about it, then I'm pretty sure He will hold you accountable.
